Maqbool Fida Husain

Maqbool Fida Husain (17 September 1915 – 9 June 2011) was a modern Indian painter of international acclaim, and a founding member of Bombay Progressive Artists' Group. (Source: Wikipedia)

The first of the two works by Husain is rare, early and possibly unique with other examples (of kite paper collages) so far not seen in the public domain. The second a vibrant work exhibited in the 50s at the Progressive Artists' Group in Mumbai.
