CATALOGUE NOTES
A lively village scene depicting women carrying pots on their heads. Raiba's oeuvre mapped his travels across India in bold strokes definite solid lines and vibrant colours. His works comprised depictions of Kashmiri women South Indian fisherwomen and Goan landscapes to North Indian village landscapes. This work was exhibited at the Nehru Centre Art Gallery Show called Indian Masters' Retrospective 2017.
