1. How do I bid?
You will have to visit our website and register yourselves to enable verification for bidding. Once you have been verified, you can place your bids online or via the telephone by contacting our specialists:

2. Where do I find the auction results?
We post the results shortly after the completion of each auction session. You can visit our website and click on the Auctions section from the top site menu to see the prices realised.

3. How do I access the catalogues?
Visit Brochures to access our PDF and e- catalogues.

4. What is the buyer's premium?
We charge 25% (twenty-five percent) Buyer’s premium in our auctions up to a hammer price of 5 crores, and incrementally 20% (twenty percent) for amounts over 5 crores.

5. What is the payment procedure once I have won the auction lot?
We shall raise a pro forma invoice for the Purchase Price on the winning Bidder, being the Buyer, immediately upon closing of the Sale, using the details furnished by such Bidder at the time of registration. Payment shall be due and payable by the Buyer within 15 (fifteen) days from the receipt of the pro forma invoice by the Buyer. Payment must be made either via (i) cheque, demand draft; (ii) RTGS/NEFT or direct wire transfer; (iii) credit card, (iv) Paypal, or (v) Online payment link.

6. How can I find more information on Prinseps's online Buy Now platform?
Different from an auction, where items are bid on and sold to the highest bidder in an open and public sale, and private sales, the Buy Now platform provides a channel for immediate sale of an item at a standard price.

7. Can I inspect the items for sale on the Buy Now platform ?
Every item has a complete description with high-resolution photographs. Please do contact us in case you wish any further information on any of the products by emailing gallery@prinseps.com or calling +91-9820022709. For high-value items, we do allow a physical inspection at our offices in Worli, Mumbai.

8. Do I have to pay for insurance?
Our shipments are all fully insured, door to door, and for any damages.

9. Can I list items in your Buy Now platform?
Ours is a curated platform. All items are vetted for aesthetics, value, and quality before being listed on our website. We do not allow vendors or consignors to list any items without our explicit approval for each item.
