Dedicated to the Right Hon. the Earl of Liverpool, K.G. Prime Minister of the Great Britian. An account by John B. Seely, who travelled to Ellora and published his observations there. Seely claimed that no monuments of antiquity in the western world are comparable to the caves of Elora, elaborating on their unknown origin, their stupendous size, their architectural ornaments, or the vast number of statues and emblems, fashioned out of the solid rock.
